Tyler grew up rural northern California and spent his free time riding his dirt bike through the hills of Nevada County. Tyler now lives near the states capitol city, Sacramento.
Tyler bought his first street bike in 2005. It was a 2003 Honda CBR 600 RR.

After a few years of riding, it was time to get something even faster…..a 2007 Yamaha R1. Unfortunately, the rider was not as skilled as he thought.
Next came a 2008 Honda CBR 1000 RR.
It was at this time in his life that Tyler realized riding fast on the street was going to get him killed or arrested. Time for a track bike! Tyler purchased a salvaged 2007 Honda CBR 600 RR, rebuilt it himself, and made a sweet track bike. The rattle can paint job even turned out decent.
After a few years of riding the track, Tyler decided it was time to take it to the next level and go racing. He completed his AFM new racers school at the end of 2012 and obtained his Novice race license. Tyler had sold his 2007 Honda CBR 600 RR, so it was time to turn the 2008 Honda CBR 1000 RR into a proper race bike.
Tyler had a very successful first year of racing in 2013. Despite only being able to attend 5 of the 7 rounds, he was able to secure the following overall standings; 3rd Clubman Heavy, 2nd Novice Open Superbike, 2nd Novice Open GP. Tyler was very happy to have such a successful and safe first year. Tyler made it though his rookie year without crashing.
2014 was a great year! Tyler raced in three novice classes; Clubman Heavyweight, Open Superbike, and Open GP. Tyler was able to secure all three championships at the end of the season!
In 2015 Tyler had an absolute blast with several highs and few lows. The goal for 2015 was to compete as an Expert with all top 10 finishes, which was achieved (except for one race crash). Tyler was even able to secure several 4th place finishes and had a few battles for the lead. Tyler has continued to work as an instructor for Pacific Track Time (PTT) and looks forward to passing along some of his road racing knowledge to newer riders and racers.
So, what's the goal for 2016? Tyler's goal is similar to 2015 in the fact that he looks for all top 10 finishes. 2016 will be about supporting his sponsors, helping teach newer riders, and continuing to get faster. Tyler's ultimate goal is to podium in an expert class.
